Preface by S. C. Gwynne.
In Surf, artist Peter Wise pairs sixty of his evocative paintings of the ocean and its surfers with personal anecdotes and observations from surf-lovers around the world. Reproduced in brilliant full-color, these breathtaking paintings capture the essence of surfing-from the deep blue depths of the ocean to the riotous movements of the surfers themselves. Surf is sure to inspire anyone who understands surfing as a metaphor for life and personal expression.
